hi i recently bought a fiat scudo 05 but after unlocking the radio, there was no sound from the speakers.

please i need help as i have spent enough on this van as it is.

dont just read and ignore - -- please please please, reply.

thanks

Is the vehicle bluetoothed for a phone connection? This would mute the radio during a phone call. If so, go through the menu and turn off the bluetooth and see if the sound returns.
Have you had the radio out to check the connections on the back? If the previous owner fitted his own unit, he may not have reconnected it properly. He may have fitted his own because this one is broken.
Needing a code, could be a sign that it had been removed, or that this unit is a replacement from a different vehicle.
An aftermarket unit beckons I think.

Thanks. I noticed a bury handsfree system at the back of the radio but I have no idea if it works. I have tried another working radio, it works but there's still no sound from the speakers.

Hopefully you've disconnected the handsfree system, at least temporarily.
And hopefully, while you were behind the radio, you ensured that the speaker connections were plugged into the radio. (Have to ensure the basics are there, before we delve deeper.)
Next is to remove a door panel and see if there is a signal to the speakers. Possible try a known speaker. If the signal is not arriving, the connection to the door is suspect. Where the wires have to go froom car to moving door is a weak spot. On some models there is a connector here, may be just disconnected, or a poor connection.

Here's a thought, has the previous owner removed the speakers? If he'd upgraded the stereo, and the speakers, he may have removed them but did not have the originals to refit.
