I'm upgrading the speakers in my Qubo with Alpine custom fit ones. Has anyone got a wiring schematic that shows which colours the positive wires are to make sure I get them round the right way. Alternatively has anyone fitted replacement speakers to a Qubo and managed to work out which wire is which?

Hi sorry I can't help with the wiring issue but... as you'll see from my earlier request for help I'd like to replace my speakers too. Are you replacing all 4? Rears are easy enough but the door speakers looked more of a challenge. Could you explain what you've done and what equipment you've used please? Did the door trims come off/ go back okay?

Can't say as I haven't attempted the front doors yet but plan to fit Alpine SXE 1650s's. The rears were easy using SXE 1025 units which go straight in. Just want some guidance on wiring colours. Will keep you posted on what sort of job the fronts turn out to be.

Hi guys,

I got my (used) new shiny green Qubo less than a week ago.

And I'm going to change both woofer and tweeter. If i manage, I would also install a crossover. Everything for my old-but-enought for me, Pioneer blah-blah with 96db SNR.

I choose two 165mm JBL with 92db Sensitivity, hope they'll be enought.
However seems like Qubo has 130mm slots, but there should be a looooot of space, so it wouldn't be hard to install a adapter (or custom made-wood adapter) for my 165mm.

It would be lot harder changing the rear 10cm with more powerful 9x6 inches. there's a lot of wasted space...

However...
If I'll manage to dismount the front doors, I'll post some photos...

Just need to find the time....
