Speaker adaptors

I know i can have 13cm (5 3/4 inch) speakers in my doors however i would like 6.5 inch speakers as they are much more powerful.

How do i do such a thing?

I've just fitted a set of 6.5" components and it was a bit of a nightmare!
Had to take the jigsaw to the doors with a metal blade (oh and remember the protective glasses!!!)
I've used a 16mm MDF spacer and have been able to screw this into the door using the original speaker points. Then the speaker into this
Also had to trim the plastic of the door card, right at the base (just below the original speaker grills)
I'll get some photos done at some point!

This is all i've got at the moment, i need to take the door cards off again to get some soundproofing back there so will take more pics then.
