For the first time I have needed to use the spare wheel.

When I mounted the wheel and fitted the bolts the wheel would not turn, it seems that the bolts are protruding through the back of the plate.

Should there be shorter bolts for the spare wheel?

All help much appreciated

Yes, you need a set of shorter bolts. Since the original wheels and the spare wheel are steel, not alloy, they require Fiat original bolts M12x1.25x30 (part 13228924).
For alloy wheels, longer bolts M12x1.25x40 (part 13228625) are used.

Hi,

Many thanks, that's a great help. I assume the original bolts for the spare wheel have been lost somewhere along the line.

I'll look for the size you have given me.

Thanks again

Frank
