hello again guys thanx for all the advice with fitting a dump valve or as the case may be not, but cheers any way (y) But i have a new question, how easy is it to change the tweeters that are sittuated in the front doors by the wing mirrors? many thanks Jack.

Not had the need to change them yet but I can't imagine it being that hard. Carefully prise off the plastic cover, be careful not to pull to hard as the tweeter will be attached to this, disconnect the plug at the rear of the tweeter and it should just slide out of the plastic cover.

This is pretty much how *most* manufacturers have them fitted.

If you don't mind me asking, why do want to remove them?

Hey Jack

I replaced both of mine for the FIAT OE BOSE upgraded tweeters, much better sound and was dead easy. Just do as StiloSport says. Tweeters went on backorder for a week and were about £15 for 2 in total, not bad I thought.

It depends on the tweeters you are putting in. The Pioneer ones that came in a set with new 6.5" speakers were a pig of a job but worth the effort. If sound is important to you why not change the door speakers also. A proper setup with crossovers makes all the difference to the standard offering.

Some pictures to give you some ideas at www.bozzy.f2s.com for tweeter build/mounting.

im doin it cos the original ones are cracking, so i think they are busted, hence the need to replace them with some sony ones!
