Technical Sound sample of broken speaker

I don't know how to describe the problem, I think that this is my speaker with a huge rattle. I can't think of having 'blown' the speaker, since it is my dads car.. and I dont think he's driving along like :slayer: but more like .

The car is 5 months old..

What is your opinion, should I drive the car to the dealer? Should they fix this for free? Listening music is horrible!

Thank you for your quick reply, I forgot to mention, it's a 4 door model and it is the right front door speaker, in UK terms the speaker in the driver door, but I'm from the Netherlands so the steering is on the left.

Should be a simple check for a dealer

Three door rears are a pain as the entire back of the car needs removing

Nice sound

It can be all... the speaker, bad connexion or amplifier output.

You should test with connecting another speaker, or if under warranty ask your dealer

If you like the sound, you might consider buying them from me for an acceptable amount.. after I got them replaced under warranty. I went to the dealer yesterday and they told me to come back on monday, they also said I could be there while they take a look at it.. which I really appreciate. They said if we can find out what is broken, we can order the parts and you can come back in two days.. and we'll fix the problem under warranty.
