Got myself a nice Stilo 1.6 Dynamic with a CN+ unit which drives 8 speakers plus subwoofer in the boot.
I find the unit a bit clumsy and would prefer to remove it and install an aftermarket HU.
The questions I have are :
1- Will any aftermarket HU be OK with this speaker setup, knowing that the "hidden menu" on the CN+ mentions that an Amp is present, tho I don't know where it is, whether it's inside the CN+ or attached somewhere else to the system.
2- The Menu that allows changes to the Locks etc, is shown on the CN+ only and not on the screen on the speedo, will removing the CN+ result in loss of these menu options or will the "computer" know to show them on the speedo screen instead ?
3- Once removed what other "hardware" is left behind, ie : GPS module, Mic etc ?
