the reason i ask is because it will be my wife's 40th birthday next year and i know she would love to have a pink 500.if it is to be made i will put down a deposit now and surprise her on her birthday.
no info from the dealer we bought her panda from so can anybody help?is pink likely to be an option in future?

to be honest i'd rather it wasn't if i'm being selfish so i can get a white 500 for her instead!

Your best bet is to get in touch with a good dealer. If you wave the right amount of cash around most good dealers will try and accomodate your needs. Whether Fiat would actually paint one pink for you though. I doubt it.

There was very recently a pink 500 in the Fiat Marylebone showroom, it was a custom order for someone so it definitely can be done.

You may want to consider having it 'vinyl-wrapped' in pink. There is a business that does this so that you could have any shade of pink on a base white car.

This gives the advantage of protecting the paint of the base car whilst maintaining the residual come re-sale. If you can't sell a pink one then strip it off to reveal a pristine white one!

I have just had this link open and in the 09 part there is a fiat 500 in pink. I am gutted if they are bringing one out, I am a very big fan of pink, and I have just ordered the cha cha cha 1.2 lounge as its a very lovely colour - I will cry if they bring this out because I want it!!!!

It depends on the shade of pink.
There was an old style Panda available for about five minutes which came, and went thank goodness, in Barbie pink :yuck: I also saw a Nissan Micra convertible in vile camomile pink the other day, and it was one of the most repellent things I've ever seen on wheels outside a kindergarten :yuck::yuck::yuck:

Now, a lovely cherry red would be lovely however.

Fiat has to think of others: if they sold a Barbie Pink 500 lots of potential buyers would head for the hills in tears :D
