Sony Xplod cd player

i bought my car with a cd player already installed (poorly). It's Sony Xplod CDX - S2000 EQ3 Drive-S.
it wont take cds in but will eject them and when i change source to CD it goes through the presets and stuff repeatedly.
Anyone got any ideas on what to do here?

Could be dodgy wiring or a fault with HU itself...............

if the HU is sh*gged, for how much that is worth on the market i would consider just getting a new one and wouldnt bother with a repair

if i cant get it workin next week il get a new 1 coz this one is **** anyway but it came with the car and was free so i gave it a chance prob get a new 1 then. i went on the sony xplod site and it was askin for the car make, but fiat wasnt on there which was bit weird.

Have you tried pressing the reset button on the front of the unit? also try cleaning the connectors on the front panel.

yeh it resets itself all the time, il get a new one its ****
