Strange thing, when i accelerate i can hear something roll from the front to the back, when i brake, it rolls back to the front, and the same when turning left or right, if i put my foot on the floor like in the middle of my mat i can feel somethin move under my foot when i hear the out of "it" moving, i'm not sure how far it goes, but it stays around the drivers seat area, maybe passing under the centre console, not suyre as i'm only going by sound really, just wondering if 1. the floor is hollow, 2. if anyone else has experienced this, and 3. how to get into there lol

I get this problem on aircraft quite frequently and cure it by locating the rolling object (genral area) drill a small hole 4mm and use a syringe to pump 1/2 a pint of waxoyl in the waxoyl coats the object and drys sticking it down (y)

There is a bush that moves left to right on the brake pedal mechanism with a distinct click ..common fault on the stilo and bloomin annoying..:bang:

It's the price you pay for dropping a nut/bolt at the worst time/place possible :(

I remember once when a passenger lobbed a 20p piece on my VW dash which then promptly rolled into one of the heater vents

I heard that damned coin rattling for the remaining time I owned the car

What happened to that £20 after down the stilo dash..bet you got that one out right sharpish..

yeah It seems easy but my objective is to remove the entire carpet so I can fuse asphalt to the chassis (stop the outside noise) :)

Wow seems this is a common problem, its been bugging me for months and just couldn't bare it anymore so i had to investigate lol, i may have a day taking the centre console out, and try to locate whatever "it" is, the only time i can remember dropping one small nut that holds the rear light in, but that was in the boot, unless something has magaed to get into and under the centre console, shall have to make a day of it.
