Hello,
This is the beginning of my adventure into SCCA Solo II racing in the KCR district. Yup, it is in the Midwest of the USA and a great place to be when it comes to this type of racing venue that is available to all levels of drivers to experience with a properly suited vehicle. My Abarth class will be in G Street which has just this year allowed the introduction of the 2013 Abarth Fiat. There are restrictions as to modifications of certain items that must be followed. I have implemented a cat back Magna Flow exhaust, .7625" wheel spacers with Neuspeed sway bar, BMC drop in air filter on stock P7 tires.
I will chew these tires up while learning to handle this front wheel drive go cart. I have 2 official events under belt with 2 events for practice and instruction.
Who knows? Maybe the Abarth is the next dominate class defender in G
Street.
Camber alignment is next but will still be running on the P7 tires. My progress will be available online because I am an SCCA member. Watch two old men named Larry hammer it out this summer with the best of the west.
