Hello.

After replacing the thermostat (again) and during bleeding the air out the system,i changed the heating to cold briefly. This was followed by fountains of water falling out from under the dash and into both footwells. After putting the heating to hot, the problem does not occur.

Im guessing its a dashboard out job to find and fix the problem but wondered whether anyone else had had this happen / why it happens. Any info would be great.

On a seperate issue, the engine hunts around a bit at tickover and quite regularly judders lots like its going to stall itself, only way to fix it is to tap the accelerator pedal a bit or the car raises the revs itself. Any idea why this happens? I have cleaned the throttlebody / cleaned the spring (incase of a sticky butterfly) and adjusted the tickover screw midly which sorted the problem for a while but it reappears within a week. Any help would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hunting idle is usually sticky Idle Air Control. That's the bit of the TB that needs cleaning.

The water thing probably a leak somewhere around the heater matrix (access from the "carpet" side, in the engine bay bulkhead) -- need to rebleed will confirm. Only odd thing is that on a Cinq heater setting should make no difference!
