I am surprised it took a while for chavs to get into Fiats because they are some of the cheapest cars around and that means more money to stick crap onto their cars! (i.e. how many saxos have I seen that 16v label on in exactly the same place...!)

Wolfrace, make sure you get them to keep and give you the old fuel line to show that they have replaced the whole lot and not just said that to make money out of you.

that thread was with regards to fitting it on a 1108cc 8v, which uses the same inlet fannymould as the 1242cc 8v found in mk1 puntos. So unless fiat have changed the desgin, ecotek don't recomend fitting it.

i still wouldnt until i knew what the inlet manifold looks like, clubcento tested it for the cinq/sei approved it for the 1108cc 8v, yet ecotek don't agree unless you drill and tap the manifold yourself in a more central location

Well. I had one on my 900cc, that was good because it is a different fannymould type...im thinking of tapping a hole in the 1108 manifold when I put the 1242cc in!

recheck the ecotek forum thread to any of those interested. Clubcento did not recommend the ecotek valve (they have kindly removed this reference), and according to their own technical bod the manifold would need drilling and tapping with a hole at least 4mm bore somewhere central near the throttle body to get one to work. Personally, I wouldn't do it.
