Styling smooth boot

i want to smooth my boot, but i have no idea what to fill the number plate gap with, someone said to me about a plate? but i dont want to weld anything, just something i can bond. any ideas?

If you're not welding forget about it, the job isn't being done right.

You can bond on a fibreglass skin but it's not a proper job IMO

if i weld it what needs to be done, i have very limited accsess to a welder and only want to use it if i have to.

I know its not a proper job but if done correctly it can look really good.

guessing its not guna be cheap tho :/
