also your talking about a plate that welds, im pretty sure it is plastic and you stick on with tiger seal or similar, might have to be corrected tho but im quite sure

its complete boot cover pannel fits with spray glue about £40 welding them is a thing of the past

They are fibreglass and they just need painting then fixing on with sikafex or tigerseal. Got mine from
