smashed up cinq

hey there, last nite i managed to smash up my cinq by hitting a taxi, the front end is fairly bad, looks like it will cost too much to repair, anyone got any ideas what to do with it? like selling parts or selling it as a car for someone to use as spares. any help would be great because i aint got a clue, cheers j.

how bad we talking? selling as parts will be time consuming but probably get you a bit more cash than selling as the whole car

btw you got a speaker grille with no broken plastic bits going by any chance? [] the plastic clip type things that is

hey, take it you have had previous experience?? i havent got a mecanic to look at it yet, but the front is fairly bad, ill up load some pictures soon, the engine seems to have moved a bit, the metal work at the front is bent inwards too. yeah , i think i kept them grilles somewhere, the front ones? ill let you know! j

it'll be "Beyond economical repair" i bet, mine was in a 10mph shunt from behind (pushed into car in front too) and was a complete mess;

Check the crumple zones; ie the bit in front of engine if thats gone, very costly alone let alone the rest of the dmg like bumpers etc

yeah it looks like the air filter has broke off its bracket, the bumper is broke, the left headlight has gone and maybe the radiator. the crumple zone at the front is all bent, does that part bolt off?? how much we talking to replace? im just trying to decide if it is worth paying for the repairs or to just sell it on. any advice would be great cheers j.

well when a garage looked at mine he literally stuck head under bonnet and saw the crumple zone was gone and pretty much said straight away "beyond economical repair" so i would say not looking too good im afraid m8 B)

yeah ive just heard that my car is going to cost £1000 to fix, so i thought a new, bigger car would be good. but i also found out that the `dint` on the other car is going to cost £700, this seems steep to me. my dad has gone to the insurance now to pay that, which means my premium will go up really high. so ill be lucky to be able to afford even a cinq, well pissed off!!!! j.
