Sluggish Punto

I have a 56 plate grande punto, 1.4 and 8v. It is drove daily to my work place which is a 25 mile trip there and back. Recently i have noticed that the car struggles to get up to the required speed and sometimes jumps/chugs. Anyone know what this could be? I have new filters and plugs ready to change but i don't think this is the problem.

Where do you fill up? Not supermarket fuel is it

Mainly anywhere there is a local garage, is that much of a problem?

Well yes, could be crap fuel. Certain supermarket fuels are known to at times cause issues. Stick to BP etc and see if it improves.

Not necessarily MEP. I mean, go ahead and try different fuel but it could be the cat converter or the exhaust. Had the same problem on my T reg Punto.

Just gave the car a service myself so hopefully this will sort the problem, if not i will go to a giat specialist
