Hi guys and gals, I bought a 2008 1.9 multijet 120 a few weeks ago and love it. Quick off the mark, does it’s job on the motorway and around town. But I was having a coolant problem, now and again it wouldn’t turn over and said radiator temp critical even though it had been sat over night. Anyway. I took it back to the car place I got it, as I took out extended warranty. Thank god. They sent it to a garage who said it needed a new radiator and needed to wait in parts from fiat. Went to pick it up from car place yesterday and as driving out the forecourt it was sluggish so thought I’d give it a bit of umpf but it wouldn’t move like it should. It was making a hissing noise, as if the turbo was sitting shotgun. Then as I took my foot of the accelerator the noise was like it had a dump valve. And was blowing black smoke out the back. So took it back, and they ran it to a local garage who said there was a loose pipe. So waited for that think happy days I’ll have my baby back. Went to pick it up, drove it up the road now it’s chuggering like it’s about to stall still blowing out black but now there’s no hissing, and sounds like the engine is muffled is the only word I can think of. Also there’s a rattling noise from the engine bay. I have no vids as I left it at the garage. From reading other posts you all seem to know what you’re talking about. Any info would be much appreciated before I throttle the garage and car place people. Thanks in advance and sorry if I don’t make sense or my spelling/grammar is crap
