Good Afternoon Everyone!!

Well, my wife's Brava has another issue, that I can't seem to figure out. The majority of the time, her 98 Fiat Brava accelerates okay (even though I don't buy the 103 horsepower from the book), but every now and then it accelerates like ... junk. Don't want to use the words I have been using for it. I took the ride to the Fiat dealership, and then don't seem to know what is the problem, however they did decide to mention to me that she may need a new clutch here soon, so I may need you guys suggesting on where to buy. I knew this was happening due to the hard shifting into Reverse.

I don't know why this car is so sluggish at times when she hits the gas. Any ideas?

wot engine is it??

has it has a service lately?? eg. when was the fuel filter & sparkplugs & HT leads changed etc.......

It is the 1.6 SX. The vehicle has been taken to the Fiat dealership, and what they told my wife was they don't know what she is talking about, but they did mention that they don't believe it is anything Electrical. Excuse me? I was under the impression that if I bring you a car and you check it out for a reason I give, then you will go to the end of everything to track it down.

I am starting to wonder if they just gave my wife these excuses due to her being a woman. Some of these guys here have a tendency to treat women like they are idiots, not realizing that she will be letting me know what is up, and forcing me to go have a few words with the mechanics, and their supervisors.

Any suggestions on where would be the best place to purchase these items? If I am changing the plug wires out, then I would like to go with blue wires. I can find these everywhere in the states, but for a Fiat in the USA is not too easy. I have changed the air filter, but the box needs some serious cleaning out. The plugs, I am not sure if I should go with Bosch or somebody else. I know that if they run too hot, then it could cause problems in the engine compartment.

dont go to halfords lol

go to a local motorspares shop, or try: www.shop4parts.com

and as for plugs, NTK are the best. try iridium ones if u can.
