for some reason today whilst driving around (like you do) my heater fan suddenly came on, it progressivly got faster and faster, just like it would if i was turning it up 1, 2, 3, 4... why has this happened it was on zero when it happened i fiddled with dials and it reacted to all the controls but when turned back to zero it went full blast again. i eventually switched off ignition and back on again and it reset! very unusual problem!
mine did that... if u pushed the fan button in tho it stopped....
I think James has experienced it since owning betty.... it's just 1 of them things that costs too much to fix so the slight irritation u have to push the knob in out weighs the cost of repair.
