Nutty about Pandas Infected by Panda virus and OPD
I have a 1.6D and have not noticed any smells or loss of fuel consumption so I am not convinced things are 100% right. i queried the DPF regen at the last service and they said it had done its thing about 600 times ion the previous 20000 mile service interval. Driven sedately I get 60 -64 mpg but it does drop notably if driving harder. Acceleration is the thing that knocks it. Head winds also knock the MPG significantly. Check that both rear hubs are running at the apporx the same temperature after a run. HYou would expect the wheel centres to be quite warm but not uncomfortable to touch. Look for blueing of the brake disc to indicate binding or jack up each corner and check free rotation when hot. Hope you resolve this it sounds annoying.
