Hi All,
Had the water pump changed on my 1997 1.2 Litre 8V Petrol Manual recently, coolant was also changed etc. All pretty much okay except that there now is a slight leak from the bottom of the radiator where it connects to the large hose (left hand side when you are looking in at the engine with the bonnet up). This doesn't seem major but it means that whenever I top up the coolant, within a day or so the level has dropped right down to the minimum level on the radiator scale (it never seems to go lower than this).
Was thinking to try and bung the leak with Radweld or Wynns? The car is 23 years old with 80K miles on the clock so I am not keen to spend too much on this to resolve it.
Any opinions on this would be much appreciated,
Mark
