afternoon guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with my sliding door.. during heavy rain I get a leak in the top right hand corner of the door (towards the back) I’ve looked at the rubber seal and that doesn’t look damaged and is where it should be.

I’m just wondering if the door could be adjusted to bring the back of the door in so it sits tighter when the door is closed, I’ve added a couple of pictures to show the door, I’ve had a look around the forum but can’t seem to find anyone having the same issue/instructions on adjustment.

Cheers

I'm not having problems with water ingress but have tried to adjust my slider for a better "fit" as the top right corner sits proud of the bodywork. Any adjustments are a compromise due to the way the door is hung, so pushing or pulling one corner in causes the diagonal corner to move out. I would first make sure the door lines up vertically front and back using the middle and top roller height adjustment. Then in/out adjust with the middle and bottom roller brackets, the top right striker pin on the body opening is also adjustable, it has a captive sliding nut, so can be loosened and adjusted from the outside, but the door may need a harder slam to engage if you move it too much. Also check the passive door engagement guides are correctly adjusted to line up when the door is shut.

Thanks for the response Phil, looking at my slider, the top right of the door also sits slightly proud on mine also. I’ll have a play about to see if I can work out how to adjust the in/out as just looking at it I can’t work out what I need to adjust to get it to move in/out.

after our slider roller disintergrated on our 2011 van ,they all needed tweeking to fit ,just be careful as letting the door move into the front jam too much (left side ),the door will contact the b pillar frame(especially if you have fitted glass ,,took a couple of hours to get it to sit right ,all 3 rollers have some adjustment, top one is mounting holes ,well worth playing about with to get it right though
