Technical Skyroof or here we go again

Hey all , so long story short last year bought a stilo abarth aaand surprise surprise the sunroof (skyroof) wasnt working , didnt give a hassle bout it cause whole car costed 600 euros .
After driwing it through the winter i've decided to make the skyroof work again and started searching for secondhand roof. And i finally got lucky got my hands on one for 70 euros (i know i know , i'm a cheapskate but oh well).
So started to tear it down to check the condition of it the construction and working principle of the roof is quite simple, but i struggle with question which kind of grease you guys use for the roof ?
Aand most importantly is there any way to revive the rubbers on it ?

Rubbers... probably not, if they're cracked or flaking... but if the rubber just looks dry and grey you can treat it with bumper/trim restorer or tyre shine spray.

For grease just use regular (toffee coloured) LM grease, rather than white or graphite (green/grey) grease.

Now waiting for new cable ends to come cause old ones are worn . Cleaned it and greased it for now with spray oil . Everything works smoothly and i can operate it just by pushing sliders with my hand . Rubbers just need a good rinse and i guess i'll go with silicone for start , to get the elasticity back to them before trying tyre shine .
