Hello everyone,
my mom is torn between selling her 79 spider or towing it to the new house we are moving to.
It has been sitting in our garage covered for 20 years untouched.
i believe it has 45k on the odo.
I poked around it some, but not much.. my mom isnt sure if there was a lot or a little fuel when she parked it 20yrs ago.
I checked the oil and there was some still in there.
brake fluid was still good too..
Black paint, and all the paint is original
beige leather interior
the bad -
dent in the hood the size of a golfball, it got pushed in.. right next to the fiat logo
scratch in the passenger fender approx 3" in length through the paint and reached the metal.
all tires deflated and have cracks
some rust spotting on the lips of the wheels.
What do you guys think it would sell for? what is fair?
Also we considered fixing it up, although my mom really just wants an audi or something new. How much do you guys think is involved and how much will it cost us?
