Technical Simple (?) question on wipers

Bought new Bosch wiper blades from Halfrauds for Mrs O's Doblo. In the box were two little plastic clips 'for Fiat apllications'. Could not work out where to put them from the little piccy on the box, so out them in the tomorrow tray.

Today, drivng at 70 in heavy rain, the passenger wiper blade came adrift from the arm and started waving around in space.

Could this be due to:-

1. Me not pushing it on properly or

2. Me not fitting the clips - if so where the h0ll do they go?

I did the same thing - with the driver's side at low speed :bang: with my Lidl wipers
I just hadn't pushed in the clip enough they only came with one type of clip. Why don't you see what the old wipers used and copy them :slayer:

Best thing for you to do is re-use the old clip if it's in good condition.

You'll never get a better fit than the original. If you threw them out, you should be able to get them from a dealer for pennies.

When we fit them in Halfords, wherever possible we re-use the old clips, but only if they are structurally and aesthetically sound. We also have a box of spare OEM clips in case the ones in the box don't fit very well.

I've learnt my lesson - buy Bosch

Thanks Guys. Ozzie, I did buy Bosch!
Problem now is that I fitted new ones and binned the old. Just have to hope that it was just that I did not push them on hard enough!
