Simple Dash Board Lights help help help

Hi,

I have just brought a soft top punto 90elx m reg and am over the moon with it. However when I am driving along a light on the dash board comes on! not sure what this light is or means, can any one help? the light is just above the Batterey and oil light. It looks like a light maybe or a something squrting water. I havent really got a clue help......................... [!][!]

Yep thats definately the injection system warning light!

Is it on all the time, or just every so often.
First of all try using an injector cleaner like Slick 50 from somewhere like Halfords.

IT should come on when u turn the key and stay on 4 a couple of secs then go off and stay off but yes its def the injectors

yeh i've got one of those on my cinq i think.. looks like a squirting hose. What is it? it stays on for like 5 seconds after i fire it up

It's the "injection system warning light". Often caused by poor fuel and dirt deposits getting stuck in the injectors.
An injector clearner and running some good fuel (not supermarket petrol) should clear it out.

If the lights just on for a few seconds after starting thats fine! Just as long as it doesn't stay on!

What's wrong with supermarket petrol? It's all students can afford, and working for tesco the 10% discount helps :I

Saisbury's petrol is pretty good too. Never had any trouble with it
