General side repeaters?

are side repeaters actually a legal requirement in the uk? cos ive seen some sweet polish cinqs with smoothed wings but i dont wana go there if its going to cause hassle.

yeah they are, mines gets pulled up in its mot for not having them
however you can put them on the mirrors if you still want smoothi wings.

oh right lame. how do the wing mirror ones work? seems like a lot of effort!

also a bit of topic but my cinq is on 40mm drop springs but can you remove the bump stops so itll go lower or do i need to get coilovers?

If you go lower than 40mm the car will become impractical. If you remove the bump stops you will destroy the shocks (and it'll still sit at the same static height).

Fitting coil overs will suit a track car -- if done properly -- it makes no sense on a road car.

Not sure who does them, but you can get polyurethane (or somesuch) foam bumpstops which are much more progressive than the standard ones (can be shaped, too, to alter the progression).
