Looks like the stick-on plate was a bit tricky to fit.

My b comes back from DTRs body shop at the end of the week and I'll be putting mine on. Any tips?

Erm, its VERY difficult to put on!!

I bought mine from Craig's plates and was happy with the quality but because the contour of the front bumper bends in several directions it is almost impossible to get it to sit right. I used a hair-dryer to warm the plate up, it also meant that the glue stayed ply-able so I could move it around a bit. TBH I had such a difficult time fitting it and am not happy with the way it sits I am going to get one like SuperSpotters - the only alternative that I can think of is to stick it on the bonnet.......... :eek:

(I did contact Craig's to ask advice but they said if it was going over a curved surface it would be nothing short of impossible to fit!!)

Sebring muffler
15" allows & Fiat hardtop for winter :p (for next summer 16-17" allows and some lowering ;) )

I think the hardtop looks the best on a black Barchetta. The winscreen pillers are black to it looks more like a full on coupe.

Looking good barchetta_97 we look forward to the new alloys and shocks and springs pics. (y)

Very nice Barchetta_97.......looks very clean and i like the slightly lower positioning of the front licence plate.

Black sure looks good with a hardtop(y) .........much needed :yum:

Got some pics of my b for you all to see.

It's a 2000 in silver and is pretty standard apart from a dtr exhaust and 10 cd multichanger with infinity speakers (needed so that I can hear the stereo over the exhaust!).

It also has air-con, a windstop and luggage rack. On the wish list is a hard-top, leather seats and maybe some new alloys.

It's my daily driver that I've had for three years and has been pretty reliable. I've even had it on a crazy 3000 mile trip around europe in two weeks.

b'97 that looks excellent, the sold colours really do suit the b and when given a good polish and good light makes for excellent photo subject............

Another nice looking b - mine is also a daily driver and to date I have had no real issues - only complaint is when I do work on the car all of the nut's and bolt's seem to be rusty..............gradually replacing them with new ones and lots of copper grease each time I remove them.......

Hunt the owner down and beat them VERY hard with a VERY big stick............

I am hoping to go for a run down to Goodwood and back this week - for the hell of while in my last week of employment - so hope to get some good piccies.............if I do manage to get down there I will post a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure!!

Hello, here are photos from my red barchetta. I hope that you can see the pictures, because i'm new here in this forum. I come from luxembourg and i'm also registred in germany forum. I'm 20 years old and i have my barchetta for 2 years now and i very like my car.:)
