Sort of, with my bank you have to give prior notice of a few days if you plan to withdraw a large amount out. Correct me if i am wrong though

Personally i wouldnt feel comfortable walking down a high street with a great wad of money in my back pocket.

I think you will need to phone bank first, say that you are wanting to withdraw some cash out - £1,500 is not something they just hand out over the counter.

Why not use a Capital One credit card cheque? Do they do them - I am sure I have a Capital One card floating about somewhere :chin: But will be treated as a cash advance, so pay fees and interest.

Do they have online account facilities - sometimes they allow you to do balance transfers, but to a current account to clear off an overdraft, say - I know with EGG you can.

picking the Abarth up on tuesday 3pm!! insurance was only an extra £2 a month over my MG too which was nice! Cant wait til tuesday now - it'll be christmas come early!

You really should get the car that you really want, don't compromise just so you can get it sooner, you have to live with it for a long time and that time will be far more enjoyable if you get the one you have your heart set on

i paid £2000 with my credit card for my deposit and the dealer (glyn hopkins) didn't bat an eyelid. when i asked if it was ok to accept a card they said they preferred it as they don't like large amounts of cash laying around and payment is authorised and immediate.

im paying cash now - the toys are just a bonus really, what i like about the abarth is the exterior looks and performance - as long as the radio works ill be happy!
