shocker noise?....

on the OFS rear shocker ( i think) i get a clunking noise when i go over a bump or speed ramp.... i bounced up and down but theres no noise.... its the same as the other side, i have NO IDEA what it is, i checked the bearing its fine, radius arm is fine, track rod end etc... please help as it due its MOT and i dont know if it will pass, you cant hear it all if you standing still and bouncing up and down..... ARGHHHHHH

Could be play in the ball joint hard to tell by boncing up and down?wishbone ?they are strong as an ox but do need replacing eventually ,just get someone you trust to look at it if not go by word of mouth .

Checl the repair guide on the website, bet its the rear seats rattling about.

Could be something as simple as front bushes.

I also bet it's the rear seat catches - had the same sound with my and girlfriends car. You can test by dropping the rear seats and listening for the sound . . .
You need to add some insulating tape to the metal bar that the rear seat latches onto. Fiat made the metal bars too narrow so the rear seats can move about slightly and knock when you go over uneven surfaces.
You need to keep checking the tape / renewing as it soon gets 'eaten away' as there is still some movement there.
