Technical Shock absorber bump stops

Dumb question but does anyone know which way round the bump stops fit to the front shocks? I've bought some KYB ones to fit the £5 FK shocks but its not clear which way they go! Pics attached.

I'll be assembling the new shocks with new springs and top mounts beforehand as mine are completely shot, so I can't inspect the old ones to see which way they go.

I would say white to top as the black end protects the shock.

SO the wite part like in picture 1 and the black part upside down from picture 1
