was driving up Lochee road last night and hit a huge pot hole

Its knocked my tracking right off again (I only got it done a month ago), but i dont think its buckled the wheels as i get no shake thru the wheel or anything! 8)

Why Pay road tax if the roads ruin the car?

Try claim it off the council, take pics of the pothole and stuff

i was on the phone this morning and they basically said to me that i dont have a leg to stand on as they have no proof that the tracking wasnt already out. I have a reciept from 1 month ago.

If i find out my wheel is buckled however, i told the woman on the phone that ill be claiming. gonna get pics of the hole tomorrow, and 2 of my mates were in the car as witnesses and other mates were in the car behind.

but then they are mates, we all know we can get our mates to lie :D

They learn from the masters of lie - councillors!

Councils SHOULD be maintaining their roads better, I've lost track of how many craters (sorry, potholes) that have ****ed my track rod ends & suspension. Maybe if we all stopped paying road tax they'd get the idea!

Just Lie, say your mate in the car behind isn't a mate - he only stoppped after you hit the pot hole because he almost ran into you and wanted to make sure there was no damage to his car and exchanged details for that reason, im pretty certain Dundee City council shant be able to track who you are friends with.

they might see that as a bit sussed, but then again, they cant call you a lier

They will just F**K you off and tell you the hole wasnt there when you said it was

All you can realy do is report any faults in the road to them there is normalya free phone number to report road and lighting defects
In glasgow you call R-A-L-F to report it and as far as im aware they have to act on every call asap
Here is a link for GCC think you can do it online so i can get a big list together for them
