To paraphrase the great Hall & Oates classic, sadly our Brava has gone. Six great years, 9 years old, succumbed to Bosch electrical failures (ECU). Yellow engine management light came on & my 'fettler's' plug in said Camshaft sensor. Changed - to no avail. A bad earth was the symptom but he was concerned as it's supposed to earth through the ECU. He had no wiring diagram (the garage's brava diagrams showed no sensor & the cross ref to the Punto had differrent pins in different places). He traced it to a connector (2 to 4 pin) which joined the Temp sensor. Connected up & she hardly started....Temp sensor now failed. I did the maths & added £200 for a new ECU to the cost of 4 new tyres (MoT next month) and came to the dread decision.

A sad day.....mille grazie e arrivederci Isabella!
