£35k, for driving a truck...like every other truck driver.....and yet you go out on strike rather than do your contracted jobs......and you wonder why i'm pissed at the lot of you? you should be grateful, on both knees praying that you get to hold onto your job and shell/esso/whoever dont ****can the lot of you for holding them to ransom, and forcing the public to suffer because you want even more than what is already a good wage for what you do.

:yeahthat: exactly.

hey buster, didnt YOU start the name calling earlier on in this thread?

with your attitude, you are the sort of person that this country can do without. You obviously havent been able to take on board anyone elses' point of view, but you are in it for sheer greed.

And its greed that is driving this country down - people wasting their time at uni racking up huge debts doing pointless degrees; people out to make easy money pushing paper for the government; those who dont give a stuff about loyalties but take everything that they have for granted and still want more.

Dont get me wrong, driving trucks is an essential job for a good economy, just like doctors and teachers. Its just that they dont deserve £40k.

Right. Time to unsubscribe to this thread for me, i think.

Mental health nurse. Has to deal with things that would make a tanker drivers toes curl up for about half what they're on. But they can't strike as they have a duty of care which even comes before their own personal safety.

Probably Cholesterol build up from lack of movement and eating at greasy pit stops. Got more risk of dying from that than a petroleum explosion.

they didnt just carry petrol though, also carried stuff like what goes in 2 pac paint that when you spray with you have to wear an air powed mask, but when you are delivering it you dont

try a nurse in a psyche unit holding down a raving loonjob trying to strangle her, but she cant defend herself (her right taken away) because the health trust says the patients rights come first...pay...about half yours

I've had experience of this bit... except I was getting kneed in the ribs outside the ward office boxing day morning lol -_-

Bugger , Psychotic patients are renowned for their physical strength. My mum worked with mancap when she was younger and can remember one bloke rocking the whole coach full of people and almost had the wheels of the deck!.
