I dont know sheffield but 25miles up the M1 in Leeds is RS tuning - who are excellent. Just off Armley Gyratory (not far from motorways)

Some of his maps are written by a company in Surrey. Also he doesn't understand how an ECU works.
There were a number of issues on the French forums.
Best for Jamie's ECU is to use someone who has got an emulator, which means it can be live mapped.

Ah well, I dont read any of the french car forums so well maybe he isnt much good with them. You get good and bad said about most companies..
People I know of have had work done by them, on VW's I add and are more than happy with the results. Maybe he knows little about french stuff?
Maybe if the OP said what the application was someone could offer someone more reputable?

Peter you really need help, how long do you want to drag this on for?
For those that don't know mr GSR Engineering does not like me because when we dyno'd one of his kits it didnt make the magic power they make on red dots rolling road.
As for us buying files, no never. We have various emulators and only tune with WinOLS rather than some of the rubbish out there, why invest 70k on a industry leading rolling road if we were going to reflash generic files?
I suggest you quit with this slander Peter as it's gone far enough, have a problem with me then come and tell me to my face.
Oh and FYI we specialise in the french market which covers most of the ECU's used across the board, we write maps for one of the biggest french tuners in the UK K-Tecracing, including the turbo conversions and our own clio 172 supercharger conversion which makes 330hp on the standard ECU
I also guarantee the only SLANDER you will find online comes from this idiot.

Trying to map an ECU with fault codes on it is hardly the way to see any improvement. If you know more than anyone else in the industy, why didn't you know that the map would not come into play as the mapping tables are ignored when the fault codes require to use an emergency program?
Testing an induction this way won't see any results.
You also want to claim that Ecosse was faking results, as well as torque of the Devil, Surry rolling road, Track & and Road, ABP Motorsport etc.
I may be sad, but I am not relying on one rolling road nor do I swear at the people I deal with nor try to imply things that can't be proven.
And WinOLS is not the only software that is good. Another false claim from you.
I did come across stuff about this with google after oldschools first response - didnt mention it as I didnt want to be a sh*t stirrer.

It all comes down to the same thing with you and that's this one induction kit on one car, let it go for once! I don't care less what you kit does or does not do, that's what it did there and then.
Which car are you talking about with a fault code? you should know that not all OBD codes force a downgrade so that comment is totally untrue. The only thing i rely on my rolling road for is mapping cars and using the excellent steady state features. You have some big issues and you really should address them.

The only thing i ever said about your induction kit is that the idea was good but needed work as the centre part collapsed too easy, if it was made from hardpipes like the AEM kit's are then it would be spot on, oh and the cheap filter.
If you don't like constructive critisism then i suggest you shut up shop and leave the motortrade for good.
Regarding the other companies that have tested back to back your kits and have evidence then show me, i have asked to see this for ages now and you can NEVER come up with the goods.
I agree thre are other products aside from OLS but for raw editing it is THE best, no crappy map definitons that are often wrong. You clearly have different views on the dimsport and alientech software but ask any real tuner and you will find your answer.
As i said before this is one thing that will never be left alone and while ever i find the posts i will reply to protect my good name.
Google is a fantastic tool and i'm sure spending half an hour or so on there will clear up which one of us is spouting the lies

we never see red dot post when some one says they are no good because they dont see the need.
our members have a brain and work out for them selves through others who have used a service, weighing up any good or bad points.
this section is for members to post their opions of who is good or bad. not for traders themselves to post advertising. if you want to do that you need a trader account an use trader section
If i wanted to advertise i would ask the correct people and pay the correct fees.
In no way have i registered on here to "big myself up". If someone posts some lies then i have EVERY right to come on here and voice my opinion, it's a forum isn't it?
