You are kidding me... It's not like that down there now is it?!? I am coming to W-s-M on Monday and the family I have there live up on the hill by Weston Woods. Another cousin lives up a bit of a hill in Worle too.

Hope it isn't like that now :(

nope it isn't like that now :(

no, this was wednesday morning, we got another inch during the day. now though it "should" be ok, just sheet ice may still be about in places! Don't try getting there by monks hill though, going out later to sand bay so will have a look if worlebury has reopened.

why would 4/5" of snow upset me!? great fun! unfortunately some of the roads then turned into polished ice rinks, which made getting about a bit difficult! And don't forget here is at sea level! So pretty surprising to get this much, there was a foot of snow in places ontop the mendips, not bad for the south!

That's OK. I don't quite have to go as far as there. Only just though! Although an aunt does live at the top of a bloody huge hill not too far from it - her back garden has a great view though lol.

That toll road going round toward Sand Bay from the main sea front though - it's lethal (and fun :p)! I am led to believe that there have been many car crashes there.

And as I am typing this - the weather lady has just said that the south west will be getting significant snowfall on Tuesday...

i went out to feed the ferrets in my pjs and got a proper nip on. so its pretty cold im guessin

i cant work out if its snowing again or if its just blowing around. thats been one of the most annoying bits with the roads. i live in the middle of nowhere, so its all country roads round here, and when theres like a gap in the hedges that edge the roads the snow off the fields blow through (cos its that proper powdery snow) and theres just a random patch of snow on the road and if you hit it wrong... kinda takes you by surprise!
