setting up online shop

Ok, I have used cubecart to set a store to sell various new car parts.

However it does need s licence <140, but as the software isnt the most up to date one they have, it just does everything I need it for so didnt want to pay the fee of £140 for the latest version

Do you think the fee would be a lot less than that above considering the software isnt the latest version.


I am open to try others if theres any suggestions

I am currently writing an online CMS, I could write up a e-shop but it will use paypal or another payment gateway as I dont have the knowledge of writing a gateway. PM for details

There is open source stuff out there. See for example. Never used it, but it's all php/apache/MySQL stuff.

Otherwise, £140 is, what, about the price of a Windows 7 licence and a M$ Office licence?
