Brake fluid change
Coolant changeSummer wgeells cleaned and refitted, tyres thoroughly checked and de-stoned
New Fiat clutch and LUK flywheel, new clutch fork, and reease bearing, new aux belt, prop removed and checked, brakes checked, oil and filter, air filter, plugs and pollen filter. Clutch hydraulics bled, battery and tray and insert cleaned. Axle oil changed. Needs a spruce up now, oil reset and the clip of doom reconnecting to the airbox

ALL PARTS AND FLUIDS for big service £99. So much coinage saved.

Sump guards still ok but needs more cleaning and hammerite before refitting.
He could do with discsa cleaning again but as the fronts are also showing signs of high spots I think a quick whizz and thennew discs and pads all round after the winter. Im confident in him apart from being suspicious of the clutch master cylinder. Not right since disturbed when the clutch was done.

I am knackered badly now so louging in the hottest bath I can tolerate!

Now for TA 4X4 OWNERS

The clutch slave is very similar to std 1.2 and sits on top of the gearbox.

The slave requies NO TOOLS. To bleed. It has a square bleed screw with nipple that is turned by hand on top of the slave cylinder half a turn to open and half to close. Easy! To find out, I did unplug the ECUs, removed the ecu earth, disconnected the battery and removed the battery tray. Only two cables needed unclipping from the front of the tray. My new bleed nipple / drain pipe gadget was perfect too. 20 minutes work. Result!

My 32K clutch , Odd shiny marks circled and a brown ring not matched on the clutch plate. Im still trying to get a video of thre DMF that shows whats going on. I cant really see anything wrong other than these marks. Its virtually unworn as far as I can see.
