Technical service/oil light reset

Hello,
new poster here, the other half bought a 500x around 1.5 year ago (69 plate) and loves it, however, one problem we had last year and remains this year, is after a service nobody seems to be able to reset the service/oil change lights.

is there anybody around darlington/teesside/north east england who would be able to do this for me? willing to pay if your a fiat specialist garage or supply buiscuits/ beer tokens if not.

obviously its a bit annoying having to drive around with the light on when the car has been serviced (last service was today.

or if there is a way to reset through the dash id love to hear any proceedure, from what iv read online this isnt possible though.

i suspect that if i take to fiat they would only reset if I get them to do a service, which as it has just been serviced today i dont really want to do.

car is petrol engine also so no DPF issues.

Hi all, i was just wondering if there was a way to reset the service light? i had my service done at a non fiat garage and the light is still on. many thanks :)

If you leave it long enough the service reminder goes off by itself - at least that's what happened with mine (1.4 turbo). Once I'd changed the oil/filter I did use Multiecuscan to reset the service indicator to remind me for the next service but if you keep an eye on the mileage/usage you can estimate when it will need its next service.
