Hi,

I have a Marea Weekend 1.6 16 valve & wish to know the engine oil capacity & at what mileage the cam belt should be changed.

The official line re cambelts is probably check at 36000miles(3-years) and replace if required, replace every 72000miles(5-years).
However as there is no way to properly inspect a cambelt without removing it (and you NEVER refit an old belt) it would be safer to just replace every 36000miles/3-years.

The engine is very similar to the Alfa TwinSpark 16v, with those there are many many cases of failures if left longer than that. With those it is recommended to replace all the belts and all the tensioners at 36000miles/3years.

Engine oil is 3.8L of 10w40.

I'd say upto 50k or 5 years. That would be a maximum though.. Never to be exceeded.
