Hi
Go on ebay.. buy a book and a stamp
Realistically:
Tell us more about the car..
Year.. miles covered ?
Look for any
stickers under the bonnet..
Often indicator labels..or pen writing for fuel filter..cambelt ..etc . as applicable
When I bought a 2.5 year old high miles car
I rang the dealer shown on the numberplates.. yes it had extensive history in their workshop
If your car is 10 years old..
Use your eyes.. what is new and shiny ..what is rusty ?
Any 'jubilee clips' visible under the bonnet? They have been fitted in the UK
If it has a steel sump pan..what state is it in..?
With your own time for free.. a 'full service' is only @£400 in parts
Oil.coolant.brake fluid
Timing belt .tensioner kit.waterpump
Discs and pads. Drums and shoes
Droplinks and sparkplugs too
Dont forget Air and Oil plus Cabin filters
What engine are we discussing?
