i have just purchased a bravo and i love it but i miss my cd player. I understand that i have to buy a fit frame, (where's the best place to buy it) then can i buy and fit any head unit.

You can get a facia adapter from halfords, motorworld.
You don't need an iso convertor caple as the standard cable is iso.

But there was mention on a thread earlier of a better facia adapter, sorry can't remember who had it.

To get the OE radio out all you need to do is use two thin pieces of metal eg. a knife and slide them in each side of the radio about where the vol and af lable is, lift them up a bit and the radi will come out, if you can't be arsed to do this fiat will remove it for you with the right tool, they didn't charge me.

Re serious audio problem

Hi,

I got my facia adapter direct from my local fiat dealer, for just £15.50. It looks great with my kenwood cd player.

Word of warning though, removing the head unit in the bravo is more tricky than it looks. Make sure you get your hands on a feeler gauge, otherwise if u use a thin knife you will almost certainly scuff the trim round it. The unit needs a good tug to come out, im messed my hands up pulling the unit out from the cassette slot ouch

Hope you do it
