Semi Smooth Boot Help

Hi guys, looking at a smooth boot on my Bravo but i dont want to remove the handle, i just want to smooth it in, was just wondering what should i use to avoid cracking? and is there any other preperation involved i.e glueing the handle aswell, ive already smoothed the lock looks good now want to do the hole thing, any pics would help aswell thanks again.

Just use Plastic Padding, its a flexible body filler so it shouldn't crack, thats what i've used and it seems ok.
