General seicento will not start

Just had my wifes car serviced and cam belt changed at main fiat garage in norwich got home and now the seicento 1.1 sporting turns over and after a while i can get it to run but the engine management light stays on. After speaking to desira they can not even look at it untill next thursday :bang:.
Can any one think what they may have done or left off .Thanks

its a shot in the dark to see what they could have done wrong. if anything.

i have had some bad luck when servicing cars that something totally unconnected has gone wrong when ive been working on something else.

try taking the battery off for a while to reset the ecu .

sometimes when belts and things have been removed the ecu has to re learn,

the only thing i can suggest is the timings slightly out,

does it have a cam sensor on top of the rocker cover by the oil filler?

I'd be checking the cam timing. Follow the guide, its quite easy.

yes seicento doe,s have cam sensor on top of the rocker cover by the oil filler
but i will leave the car to fiat to sort out as they did the work on the car and should sort it out

only MPI seicento . Do you need the car for everyday use? IF you do want to check the timing as rallycinq suggested here is a pic:

But best to leave it for them, and it sounds unacceptable to leave you hanging till thursday if they never done the work correctly.
