I have just been given a Seicento Sporting for my 17th birthday. I was just wondering the power output of the current front speakers and what are the best speakers to replace them with?

Thanks
DAN

it should be writtin on the bottom of the speaker... so you'd probably have to take it out! or on the user's manual.

i'm just guessing tho, but that's were it's written on my fiat!

They are 'ok' donno the power of them though...

If you are into your bass, i'd reccomend changing them. They are ok for tweeters but not bass.

i got some sa40`s in me dash and they are quality for the money £65.99 but i got them for £55 ;) yea the covers are huge on mine so i just left them off,but im gonna mod the old covers:D

Anyone know any front speakers for the seicento that will just drop in without any clearance issues and are much better than the current ones in there.

The front speakers in my Cinq are rated at 17W RMS. They're staying cos they have good treble and aren't tinny at highish volumes. As my CD player pumps out 17W RMS, I reckon they are well suited. I rely on my sub for bass and my speakers for mid and treble. (Got some 2 way coaxials to go in mind, to back up the front speakers)

the only ones you gonna get away with without trimming and modding of the dash are 4" speakers with only 2 screw holes, i think sony do some with only 2 screw holes, 4 screw holes will go in but may need trimming

hi guys, in was just wondering what the best speakers to use for all round good sound, throughout the range.

i ask this because my headunit has the capability of playing the 'real' music through the fronts and the reflections and reverberations, (or something similar) through the rears.

at the moment i have some old kenwoods that came with the car in the front and some sony xplod jobbies in the parcel shelf.

so i wantt o get some decent ones in the front then upgrade the rears when the funds arrive.

cheers, Matt Ps, my headunit is 4x50W, if that makes any difference

What sort of budget are you looking at? Do you want components or coaxials? You could go to Halfords and have a listen to the different speakers to see what you like. IMO you won't go far wrong with any of the big makes such as Pioneer, Vibe, etc.

Even if people think the standard OE ones are "good", well ok they might be, but still change them. You WILL notice a difference.

For example, 4" SPLX cheapo ones are about £10. They sound much better than 5x7's that were standard in my previous Marea - and that's with the same head unit and better door build (EDIT: better door build on the Marea, compared to my Uno).

Yeah I know what you mean. Thought the standard ones would be OK, but now, I ain't too sure! :D Components on the way then........
