Seicento Problem - High Idle

Hi, Just re-built Seicento MPI engine, & upon starting the engine is reving high. Have checked accelerator cable & this seems OK. What sensors etc should I look at or does ecu need a re-set in some way as the car has not run for several months after a damaged cylinder head & head gasket.
