Will these fit?

If not can you recommend some cheap ones as I only need them as my Girlfriend cant reach the accelerator properly as the cover came off years ago.

There never was a cover!

AFAIK, no after market ones are a straight fit, so, if buying, get some as plain as you can (no pretty anodised finishes) and be prepared to drill, hammer, tap and generally re-shape them. Alternatively, buy some 1/4" aluminium from your local metals dealer and make your own (you must, legally, make at least the brake non-slip, maybe with blobs of sikaflex or silicon).

Somewhere in the back of my head is the idea that J333EVO modified some from a modern baby Fiat to fit.

Abarth did make some: if you can still get them, they'll be very expensive, but should be plain bolt on.

How tall is your girlfriend? I know lots of women around the 5' 1" mark who have no problems at all with the pedals.

As said there was never a cover fitted to the accelerator peddle, if you think about it its logical, you do not apply anything other than light pressure to a accelerator peddle, whereas the brake and clutch need lots of pressure and therefore a non-slip surface so foot does not slip off.

There was optional alloy peddle covers available from Fiat, these are no longer so only way of getting them is to find a Schumi model as they had them fitted as standard.

Emma's car has optional extra New Panda peddles fitted, they are a good size but need slightly modified to fit as the angle of bend on them is not quite right.

All decent peddle covers require the peddles to be drilled, the ones that slip over are pretty poor in my experience, I just removed a set from my GT4, they were rubbish.

Dont forget as well with any pedals, you need to have a minimum gap between all pedals (cant remember what it is someone post up the distance???) by law, so no point getting aftermarket ones if they will make car illegal, at least make sure they are suited to the sei before commiting to buy

I have had rubbish myself with aftermarket pedals being too close together, also if you go for a bigger acellerator pedal be careful it does not affect the ability to depress the throttle 'cos mine hit the carpet & stopped me flooring it properly!!!

Any chance of a pic of these? I'm tempted to give them a go but don't want to buy them & find out I wouldn't be happy with the result.

How exactly did you modify them?

Thanks Emma. The Sei looks awesomely clean in those pics!;)

I rather like the white on black of the Novitec ones. I'm thinking carbon with white polyurethane for the non slip bits (essentially white Sikkaflex). Could be made so that they fit on the pedals as well as screw/bolt on: that way they'd be a lot easier to mount.

I bought the Novitec ones that claimed to be for a Sei & they aren't remotely like a perfect fit :-/

Have put the acellerator pedal in a vice to straighten it as it was far too bent., the brake pedals go on fine.

There's other relavent info on this thread...

The acellerator one has mount holes side by side unlike the brake & clutch which means that it wont just drill on properly like the other 2 (just like most other crappy aftermarket pedals).

ALSO - I can't remember if you HAVE to have rubber on the brake & clutch, but the NOVITEC ones don't, so I think I'll have to swap back come MOT time (although the edges on the raised bits are V.catchy so I think they'll be perfectly safe).

On the plus die the acellerator is nice & thin, something I found I had a problem with the 2 sets of aftermarket jobbies I've tried & given up on in the past.
