My car was broken into after only having had it for two days, with the trusty 'screwdriver in the driver's side door' technique, bulging the door planel slightly and knackering the barrel.
I'm quite happy to have a new barrel fitted and have a separate key for it. But I was wondering if it's possible to either fit the perfectly good barrel from the passenger's side or boot and then fit a new lock in there instead? This would stop me faffing about so much when I get in the car.
