I think it should be around 190-200psi? But i couldnt guarantee that..

what do you mean "dry/wet"?

What is the correct way to do a comp test? - I kinda thought it was just coil packs unlpugged, plug out, tester in - turn ignition & take reading?...

All plugs out, throttle fully open, engine up to operating temperature. Write the readings down.

That's the dry one.

Then you put a teaspoon of oil in cylinder 1, repeat the test, then cylinder 2, and so on.

This is the idea. The dry readings will show up a blown head gasket. Or something wrong when one cylinder is way out.

If the reading on a cylinder improves markedly "wet" then the bores/rings/piston on that cylinder are deeply suspect (the oil effectively "seals" the piston to the bore).

Sorry to sound dumb here, but I still don't think I fully understand it;
So let's see if I have this right:
*take the car for a run
*disconnect coils and remove all the plugs
*hold throttle pedal down while turning the ignition
*let it crank 4-5 times and take the readings

This sound about right?
